Tim McBride earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from West Chester University in 2011 and went on to obtain a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, with a certification in school counseling, from Immaculata University in 2019. Currently, Tim works as a high school guidance counselor and provides constructive and supportive therapy to both adults and children outside of the school setting. In addition to having a strong passion in the counseling field, he has worked with adults and children on the autism spectrum for 9 years using the therapeutic practice of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Additionally, Tim has experience working with adults struggling with addiction and co-occurring diagnoses. Combining his personal and professional knowledge and experiences, Tim uses a compassionate, non-judgmental approach with his clients. Believing that clients need a supportive and objective view to their issues, Tim utilizes a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered, and solution-focused approaches to help his clients accomplish their goals.
