Danielle Davis MSW is a Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in social work from Marywood University.
Danielle has over 7 years of experience working with individuals from various cultural backgrounds and having different beliefs and values. Danielle began her career working with adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She went directly to facilitating a Partial Hospitalization Program working with adolescents and adults having co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety and depression disorders, ADHD/ADD, substance abuse, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and other behavioral issues, LGBTQI+ related issues, trauma, crisis, suicide and bereavement, grief and loss, post-partum related issues, relationship issues, impulsiveness, anger management and more as she completed her graduate program. She went to work as an Outpatient Therapist, promoting self-empowerment and self-discovery through individual counseling services. As she continued to work through her graduate degree, she gained experience as an Intensive Behavioral Specialist and Mobile Therapist utilizing behavior modification through solution-focused therapy . In addition, Danielle has additional expertise in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness.
Danielle believes in the importance of client-centered therapy building a therapeutic relationship on the client’s healing to promote positive change and meet their goals incorporating a variety of therapeutic approaches.
Outside of work, Danielle is a mother and a dog mom. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones.
