Kayla Reeder, M.Ed.

Kayla earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a Minor in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2016. She has over 5 years of experience working with children, adolescent and adults who experience domestic violence and sexual assault/harrassment. While attending graduate school, she worked in the areas of Montgomery County, Chester County, Bucks County, Berks County and Philadelphia; as a caseworker for ungovernable youths. She provided a therapeutic approach while assisting youths with truancy, academic, family and community concerns.
Kayla also received a Master's degree from West Chester University in School Counseling in 2022. Kayla has been an elementary school counselor since 2022 and works closely with children with anxiety, anger, trauma, peer conflicts, low self-esteem, social and behavioral concerns. She focuses on emotional regulation and coping skills for internal and external behaviors, social skills to help with friendships and peer conflicts, as well as executive functioning skills. She is working towards earning a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling.
