Ann Marie Galioto

Ann Marie earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Boston University in 1985 and a PhD in microbiology and molecular virology in 2003. After many years working in both the communication and scientific fields, a continuing interest in human services inspired her to return to the classroom once again to pursue a degree in counseling. Ann Marie graduated with a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Delaware Valley University in 2017. Since then, she has been working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a variety of presenting issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, and grief and loss. Ann Marie works with clients using an integrated approach drawn from a variety of theoretical orientations, with a focus on personal strengths, self-compassion, and tailoring treatment approaches to meet each individual client’s unique needs. Ann Marie is also currently completing the necessary requirements for her LPC.
