Caroline Crowley

Caroline graduated with a Bachelors degree with a focus in sociology from the University of Tampa Florida in 2012. From 2012 to 2016, Caroline worked with children and youth in the Philadelphia foster care system with the goal of reconnecting them with family and loved ones.
Caroline recognized that her passion was to help support others and decided to go back to school and acquired her Masters in Social Work from Widener University. During her two years at Widener, Caroline expanded her knowledge and understanding on working with individuals who struggle with substance misuse and mental health, while also obtaining her trauma certification.
Since graduating in 2018, Caroline has worked with men and women in multiple inpatient settings ranging from a drug and alcohol rehab to a psychiatric hospital. Caroline has also had experience working in a medical hospital. Currently, Caroline is working with middle school and high school youth as a school based prevention counselor. In her spare time, Caroline is either at the gym, going on walks with her husband and 1 year old son, studying to secure her LSW or relaxing at home.
Caroline has experience working with individuals who are impacted by trauma, mental health (bi-polar, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, anxiety and depression), domestic violence, abuse and substance misuse. Caroline also has experience working in both an individual and group setting as she understands that therapy comes in many different forms.
