Moira Tumelty
Perkasie, PA
Moira Tumelty is a National Certified Counselor and is completing her clinical hours to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her masters degree in Community Counseling from the University of Scranton, while a Graduation Assistant in Campus Ministries. After graduate school, Moira did a year of volunteer work through an AmeriCorps program in Chicago at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. When she returned home to Montgomery County, she began her professional career in crisis intervention where she served as a crisis worker and then as a program leader. Moira has been a leader in disaster response in Montgomery County, including postvention activities following Hurricane Ida, supporting those who were emotionally impacted and displaced. She has worked closely with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) in supporting individuals and their families’ members living with mental illness.
Moira believes in a collaborative approach to therapy as people heal and grow through connection. She is passionate about helping others gain insight and reach their goals. She has experience working with adults and youth dealing with:

In 2021, Moira was a recipient of The Recovery and Resiliency Award. In her spare time loves spending time exploring the outdoors with her two dogs. She plays on a softball team, is a member of a bowling league, and enjoys stress baking for others.
