Alicia Byelich

Perkasie, PA 

In 2001, Alicia graduated from Eastern University with a Bachelors of Arts Degree majoring in Psychology.  Throughout the years, Alicia has gained professional experience interning at a Crisis Pregnancy Center as well as an Alternative School moving on to working as a Mental Health Technician on an inpatient Mental Health Unit and later as a Crisis Worker in a local Emergency Room.  In May of 2023, she graduated from Cairn University with a Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling.  During her time in graduate school she interned at Compass Counseling and Associates and continues to work as a Counselor for Compass as she completes the requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania.
  
Within the counseling session Alicia creates a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore the struggles they are facing and the life they long to live.  She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who struggle with: Depression, Anxiety, Interpersonal Conflict, Personality Disorders, Grief, ODD, ADHD and more. Working alongside each individual and discovering his or her personal strengths and unique values, Alicia pulls from her experience in ACT, CBT, DBT, EFT, and Christian Counseling using a collaborative, holistic and person-centered approach to help the client meet their needs and goals. 

Alicia has been married for over 20 years and has three children.  She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, a good board game, kayaking, and watching the ocean.
