Understanding and Addressing Childhood Trauma

Childhood is often idealized as a time of innocence, joy, and carefree play. However, for many individuals, childhood can be marked by experiences of trauma that cast a long shadow over their lives. Childhood trauma encompasses a range of adverse experiences, from physical or emotional abuse to neglect, witnessing domestic violence, or experiencing natural disasters.
